Gonna say this again: You can call them whatever you want for yourself, but I’m not even going to pretend for one second that I “prefer” my pronouns or that I am “asking” you to use them. Pretending like I “prefer” my pronouns is like “well I like being called she but I guess if you just have to use he then whatever.” LOL no. I demand this shit. It is not optional. To expect me not to demand this essential part of my identity be acknowledged would be nothing less than dehumanizing. Sick of hearing the media use bullshit phrases like “preferred pronouns” or people’s responses to cissexist media saying shit like “please use this person’s ~*preferred*~ pronouns.” Damn, cut that shit out. It’s obnoxious at best.
