I love this movie because it isn’t about “good vs evil.” The characters are more morally complex than that. Lady Eboshi is a hardcore capitalist and an industrialist to a fault, but she cares deeply about the people of Irontown, especially the women. Despite her faults, you can’t simply dismiss her as “wholly evil.” And she’s kind of a badass.
