Um, all I’m saying is that I don’t consider the opinion of a straight male, no matter how supportive they may be (for which they don’t deserve any cookies, btw) who knows absolutely nothing about all that it takes to do drag, even slightly relevant. If I was at party or a club, dressed up, looking and feeling fierce and a straight man came up to me saying “Personally, your makeup needs a little work and your look just isn’t doing it for me. I think you need to step it up a notch.” if I was able to resist the strong urge to slap the shit out of them, I’d be saying “I’m sorry, but who the fuck asked you and what makes you think you’re even allowed to speak to me or look at me?” Maybe people think I shouldn’t be bringing my separatist politics into Rupaul’s Drag Race…but I’m going to*~*~*~
