I’ve been thinking about legally changing my name to Michael A. Grammar because:
1) I really like it.
2) Some people already think it’s my actual name.
3) There are two Michael Lewises at work and people are always calling/emailing the wrong one.
4) I hate my real name (Michael Wyatt Lewis) because it’s so common, so redneck, and my gross middle name was taken from my racist grandpa, ew. I don’t identify with it at all and it makes me uncomfortable.
5) The look on my mother’s face when I tell her that I’m going to do it.
