I’ve had this annoying lingering sickness since before New Year’s Eve. I got a shot and a round of antibiotics but it never completely went away. I’ve been able to manage it for the most part, but I’ve been missing quite a lot of work and taking too much LWOP because I’ve used up all my leave. But all day yesterday was just terrible. The worst. Last night, I felt like I was burning up. I thought I might have a fever so I took my shirt off and took my temperature. My body temp was 94 degrees, which is mildly hypothermic and kind of scary considering I felt like I was on fire and it wasn’t even an especially cold night. My body temp has been slowly increasing today but I still feel like I’m dying. My throat and lungs are burning and my sinuses are clogged with a disgusting infection. I can’t even afford to go back to the doctor until Friday, and even if I do go see them I don’t know what they can do that they haven’t already done. I’m so tired of being sick.
