E CONCHIS OMNIA | Hi! Speaking as a linguist, there is absolutely no wrong way to speak. Everything from “that’s not a word!” to “that’s grammatically incorrect” damn near infuriates me. I won’t bore you with details out of the blue, but know that those who study language are on your side. :) And don’t forget to mention this to people: using the 3rd-person plural as a gender-neutral pronoun is unquestionably in use by a VAST number of people. Or, just ponder Wittgenstein: “the meaning of a word is its use.”

Thank you for your awesome input. I truly appreciate it. And even if it wasn’t “grammatically correct” language is constantly evolving so anyone who says “THAT’S WRONG” is probably wrong now or at least will be undeniably wrong in the near future. The Internet grammar police who try to invalidate people’s identities “BECAUSE GRAMMAR” can simply ~*fuck off*~
